Our vision for safer, stronger neighborhoods:<ul><li>Fully fund EMS, fire departments, and first responders, especially in rural areas where response times are increasing and volunteers are hard to come by.</li><li>Improve infrastructure — from roads to bridges to clean water — to reduce accidents, prevent health hazards, and keep communities connected.</li><li>Increase access to mental health and addiction treatment so law enforcement isn’t left handling crises alone.</li><li>Support community policing and training that builds trust while keeping officers and families safe.</li><li>Promote responsible gun ownership and reduce harm, including safe storage incentives and tools for families worried about a crisis situation.</li><li>Invest in youth programs, apprenticeship opportunities, and workforce pathways that keep young people engaged, supported, and safe.</li></ul>

Everyone wants to feel safe where they live. That starts with strong neighborhoods, good roads and clean water, reliable emergency services, and mental health support that actually exists. Emily believes we can keep our communities safe by focusing on what works, respecting responsible gun owners, and making sure help is there when people need it.

Our vision for making life more affordable:<ul><li>Strengthen local healthcare access so families don’t have to travel far or pay more when hospitals and clinics close.</li><li>Bring down everyday costs by removing barriers that drive up prices — from childcare to prescription drugs to energy bills.</li><li>Support local farmers and small businesses by expanding market access, reducing unnecessary red tape, and keeping supply chains local.</li><li>Invest in early fixes, not expensive emergencies — because repairing broken systems saves taxpayers money in the long run.</li><li>Protect taxpayers by insisting that public dollars go toward services families actually use, not political pet projects or giveaways.</li><li>Increase Wisconsin’s workforce strength through job training and skills programs that lead to good-paying local jobs.</li></ul>
